How many guests can the reception hall hold?
The reception hall can accommodate up to 200 guests, with space planned for dining and a large dance floor.
Is the reception space climate-controlled?
Yes. The indoor reception space has heating and air conditioning.
Do you provide linens?
White and black table linens will be provided, and black tablecloths for up to two 6-foot DJ tables. We also have a variety of colored table runners that you may utilize.
What is included with the reception space?
Packages include tables, chairs, linens, and setup of tables and chairs. Many couples also use the on-site decor collection to personalize their reception.
Can I come early to decorate?
Decorating for your day can begin as early as 9:00 am on the day of your event. This is when you will be granted entrance onto the property, and your day will commence! All tables and chairs will be set up to your expectations (as previously communicated with our day-of coordinator) before you arrive. Some event dates allow for rental of the venue for the day before your event for $1,000. If interested, please ask for availability.
Is there enough space for a band or DJ setup?
Yes. The reception hall layout supports typical DJ or band setups, along with a full dance floor.
Can we use the patio and fire pit during the reception?
Yes. Guests can step outside for fresh air and conversation. Many couples also use the patio area for a s’mores bar or casual gathering time.
Is there a food or beverage minimum?
No. We do not have a food or beverage minimum.
Will we work directly with the caterer?
Yes. You will work directly with your caterer. There is no markup or commission added by Mountain Ridge Venue.
What is your alcohol policy?
For alcohol consumption to be permitted, a Banquet License is required, and proof must be provided 30 days prior. Banquet. These typically take 7-10 days to process and will cost $40. Alcohol will only be distributed by the licensed bartender, and last call for the bar will be 30 minutes before the reception is scheduled to end.
Are sparklers permitted?
Yes! We love the magic of a sparkler exit! Sparklers are allowed as the couple exits the venue under the supervision of the wedding coordinator.
We do not permit the use of birdseed, confetti, glitter, faux flower petals, or rice
Is event insurance required?
Yes. Event insurance is required. A one-day policy is often around $200 through many insurance providers.
